Check out Vaults 2017 Pro Bono Guide!

Check out Vault's 2017 Pro Bono Guide! Check out Vault's 2017 Pro Bono Guide! The 2017 edition of the  Vault Guide to Law Firm Pro Bono Programs  is now available! The guide features detailed information about the pro bono work that 125 top law firms across the country have engaged in over the past few years. In many ways, the firms featured in the guide couldn’t be more different: they include international behemoths with offices across the globe and smaller boutiques with just one office; firms headquartered from New York to Texas to California; firms with over a century of history to their names and firms that were created in the last decade. Still, each of these firms shares a fundamental commitment to pro bono work. Many of the firms featured in the guide have devoted considerable resources to the fascinating- and often ground-breaking- work they have taken on. In so doing, these firms have created a culture of public service, in which great numbers of attorneys of all levels devote significant time to pro bono projects. Whether they are briefing landmark Supreme Court cases or appearing in local courts on behalf of their clients, associates are making meaningful contributions and gaining valuable experience through pro bono work. Vault’s pro bono survey collects information regarding various aspects of law firm pro bono programs, such as the professionals who manage the program internally, average number of pro bono hours per attorney, pro bono opportunities for summer associates, and recent pro bono victories and partnerships. We also ask about how pro bono work factors into evaluations, promotions, and compensation decisions.
